These unique moisture pads are made from untreated wool from Pacific Northwest free range sheep. The sheep are not treated with antibiotics or hormones and graze on lush open fields that have not been treated with pesticides or herbicides. Because the sheep are allowed to free range graze for natural food sources, the manufacturer can not state that the wool is certified organic. However, this wool is the purest, cleanest and most natural, untreated wool that we can find.

A perfect pad for resisting moisture while providing a safe, pure and comfortable sleeping surface, these pads are made without carbonizing, moth-proofing or shrink-proofing. That means no harsh chemical treatments, no plasticizers or synthetics - just wool.

Wool pads can last many seasons with minimum fuss and basic care. Though machine washable, they rarely need it because bacteria and mold do not grow on wool. Wool also naturally resists mildew, dust mites, repels wetness and is a natural flame retardant.

These should only be washed if soiled, but if required this pad can be machine washed on a delicate cycle and dried indoors - never in direct sunlight. Pads are made over-sized to allow for some shrinkage and come with elastic straps.
