Hello and welcome to NoFeathersPlease.com! As a flight attendant I’ve spent years sleeping on questionable (to put it mildly) bedding in some dusty hotel rooms. Since I have allergies, I especially wanted a healthy bedroom at home as free from irritants and dust mites as I could find.

So I began a long search for bedding that was not only free of down and feathers but also hypoallergenic, chemical and pesticide free.

That turned out to be much more challenging and difficult than I thought.

As I’ve learned, there are lots of  “sort of” organic bedding lines out there and many are not completely or truly organic, not all natural fibers (like cotton or wool), not chemical and pesticide free, or they had those darn feathers and down in them. Often they came from places that did not always practice and maintain healthy or environmentally sound growing, harvesting or manufacturing standards.

It’s taken some time, but I’ve found several wonderful, all natural, truly organic, safe and pure lines of amazing bedding and launched NoFeathersPlease.com in 2006.  Not only are these lines of bedding certified organic, but manufactured to the highest standards of testing and safety available today. Most of the products are made right here in the USA from US components.
